We took a second red bus tour that took us over Logan Pass to St. Mary Lake where we stopped for dinner. Our driver Darrell was so much fun, and knowledgeable about the park and local wildlife. The scenery in this park is beautiful but it’s a real plus to know and understand what you are looking at.

This rock still bears the scars of a receding glacier. The entire landscape was created by glaciers, hence the name of the park.

The iconic St. Mary Lake with Wild Goose Island sitting out there alone. This island is all that shows from a huge landslide that ended up in the lake.

We stopped along the way to see a family of mountain goats, mama, daddy and baby. Dad was pretty scruffy, hadn’t completely shedded off his coat.

Another fun day at the park.
