Heading east on I-40 is a pretty decent KOA, easy on/off the highway, about 50 miles east of the Texas/Oklahoma border.
Nothing like a dip in the pool after a long drive in 90 degree weather. Pool was clean, not too much chlorine AND we had it all to ourselves!
After a swim we stopped in the Moose Knuckle Tavern for a quick bite.
Continuing on eastward tomorrow after a good night’s rest.
