About 15 miles SW of Roswell NM is Bottomless Lakes State Park. The park is 1,400 acres and has 9 small lakes varying from 17-90 feet deep. These were originally sink holes. There is a nice full hook up camping area alongside Lea Lake, very pretty. The day we were here it was only 54 degrees so we didn’t do any hikes, we weren’t dressed for it.
