September 2020 snow storm

We had an unusual snow storm on September 9, 2020 in Chama NM. The snow came fast and furious, heavy and wet. We woke to the sounds of snapping branches and thuds as they hit the ground. The RV Park was evacuated at about 2:00 am. The local lodges/hotels made rooms available but were quickly full. Fortunately a church opened their doors to us and we had a warm dry place to wait out the storm.

It will take a long time to get this all cleaned up. We were very fortunate as we had no damage to our motorhome or vehicles. Still no power but we have a generator so will be able to sleep in our own bed tonight.
