So off we go on another adventure. This time from our home base in Monticello Utah. It’s about a 2 hour drive outside of Blanding Utah on route 95 to the Natural Bridges National Monument. The monument comprises of 3 natural bridges. The Sipapu, Kachina, and Owachomo bridges. Due to the 90 degree temps we decided to take the scenic drive versus the 9.8 mile hike on the valley floor. The drive is 9 miles of paved road with a overlook stop off at each bridge . The views are spectacular. Being that this is a national monument, we didn’t have to pay to get in. We used my senior pass.
On our way back the road cut through the mountain, very pretty.
